Tax Incentives:

No limit for whether funds, loans or rental income as long as obtained from abroad, but they must be registered and put on records at the Reserve Bank of Malawi (i.e., the Central Bank).

No tax collection for invested funds on new industry or buildings before all the costs are recovered.

No tax collection for machinery and equipment for old buildings before 40% of the costs are recovered.

To give 25% deduction of the cost for international transportation expenses.

To exempt from taxes for the cost of the purchase of raw materials and packaging materials.
